Arrangement, Synthsizer, Piano: Marihiko Hara
Photography: Alia from Ga za, Pales tines

This is the second work of my music project with people with Palestine.
“فوق النخل فوق (Above the palm trees)” is a folk song originally made in Iraq.
I arranged the song with a beautiful voice of Amal in Ga za.
The photography was provided by Alia, who recently published a recipe book “Alia Palestine nian recipes” collaborated with Megumi Shishikura. Its profit goes to my friends in Pa lestine who cooperated on this track.

After Nakba
Voice: Kefah from G aza, Pale stine
Arrangement, Synthesizer, Piano: Marihiko Hara
Photography: Kefah from Ga za, Pales tines
Design: Muranaka Masumi
One day, my 5-year-old son suddenly awoke at dawn and said, “I had a dream. I was making Kibbeh of that Palestinian food and talking with the people.” He reads his mother's “Alia’s Palestinian Recipe” and helps her pack. On the map of his heart, Palestine exists, as well as Kyoto, Tokyo, Korea, and Italy.
My friend Kefah was displaced and is protecting and raising her two children in a temporary tent. She chose the poem “After Nakba” by Abd al-Rahim Maumoud(1913-1948), a poet known for his resistance and revolutionary writings. In her recordings, you can hear the voices of her children, which she recorded with her phone in the tent.
The picture was taken by Kefah at 12:17 on October 3, 2023, from the highest place in Gaza. She was visiting the restaurant there with her working colleagues.
This is the third release of my project, which has been making music with the recordings and photos provided by the displaced people since August 2024.
